As our Retail Distribution Manager you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans required to deliver exceptional service to solar installers throughout the U.S, at best in class costs. The role will involve sales management, strategic planning, integrating new business streams, and interfacing with various business units and external contacts. Industry knowledge, including familiarity with existing solar dealers and installers will ensure you have the expertise and necessary contacts to effectively sell our PV products to potential customers. High level communication skills are essential as you serve as the primary contact with vendors and dealers/installation companies, proposing new business and negotiating contracts with retail installers for client companies. You will be responsible for maximizing market share and dollar sales via continued development and implementation of programs directed at marketing support, product conversion incentives, and the development of business relationships. Experience managing distribution center activities and personnel is vital as you ensure that material movement is handled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your proven retail distribution experience and ability to self-manage will ensure your success with a solar energy pioneer.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years minimum Distribution experience required
• 2 years minimum PV Solar Sales experience
• Bachelor's degree, Masters degree preferred
• Background of appointing, maximizing and liaising with retail solar installers of all structures and sizes.
• Familiarity with grid-tie products currently on the market, including panels, inverters, racking and BOS is required
• Familiarity with existing solar dealer and distribution channels is required
• Up to 20% Travel
