Lead Solar Technician

The “Lead Installer” is a professional position of leadership within the company. Leads are responsible for managing all aspects of field operations, with support from engineering and project management colleagues, working towards business objectives. This is a field management position providing job function expertise, managing the work of field crews, interacting directly with customers, coordinating with subcontractors and assisting with job planning and results accounting.
The candidate must have 3+ years of experience with various phases of residential solar and small to mid-sized commercial solar electric installations including a thorough knowledge of the NEC. The ability to multi-takes in a fast moving environment is a must as well.
Full spectrum responsibilities include participating in permit installations through permit sign off. Service and troubleshooting abilities preferred.
Skillset required include a thorough knowledge of solar specific product specifications as well as the tools and techniques involved in a wide variety of solar installations. Additional skills would include computer skills such as spreadsheet usage, basic drafting as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. Off Grid experience also desired but not required.
