Markets for environmental attributes (e.g., renewable energy certificates and carbon offsets) are complex, discontinuous, and lack transparency. The policy requirements which drive and define these markets have a variety of economic implications for all manner of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other sustainability projects a facility may undertake – from daylighting, solar thermal and renewable electricity generation to compositing.
This day workshop will review opportunities in these markets and enable participants to evaluate the full range of market options available from potential activities in order to more comprehensively evaluate the economics of various sustainability related endeavors.
