IGSHPA Accredited Geothermal Installer Training
This 40-hour comprehensive installation workshop, one of eight courses in the award- winning Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series, is designed for ground-source heat pump (also known as “geothermal”) developers, architects, manufacturers, distributors, dealers, installers, HVAC contractors, trenching/drilling contractors, and anyone who desires a working knowledge of this innovative technology. This course is now approved for for 40 -NC Well Contractors CEUs.
Upon successful completion of the workshop and passing the IGSHPA* installer’s examination by obtaining a grade of 90 or higher, participants will be issued IGSHPA accreditation as an installer of ground-source heat pump (GSHP) systems and receive an installer’s card and a certificate. Registration includes the examination fee, workbooks, and membership with IGSHPA after you have completed the Installation Workshop. Membership in IGSHPA is required to be an Accredited Installer.
