This course is offered in cooperation with the 2013 Sustainability Summit & Exposition and with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, School of Continuing Education.

This course is based on Articles 690 and 705 in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and how they pertain to photovoltaic (PV) systems. The course will also review some of the key requirements in Chapters 1-4 of the NEC, as well as equipment listing and labeling requirements. This course is intended to inform electricians of code compliance requirements for solar electric systems and will relate to the following job categories:
