This 2 day course is brought to you jointly by the NC Solar Center and Everblue. The LEED Green Associate credential is intended for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice. The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) has created the LEED Green Associate credential, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations, the fundamentals of green building practices, from construction site selection, to water efficiency, to energy conservation and material resources. The LEED Green Associate designation provides a general understanding of LEED concepts and sustainable building practices, and is the first course that anyone new to LEED should take.

Course Objectives:
Learn proven strategies for taking and passing the GA Exam (over 90% pass rate!)
Identify the key components of the LEED Rating Systems
Understand the LEED Certification application process
Familiarize you with successful LEED and green building strategies
Obtain certificate of completion from a USGBC Accredited training provider
