This day of hands-on training takes place at our ImagineSolar Smart Grid & Solar Field Lab, where you will install and commission a fully energized 3kW Solar PV system and connect it to the grid, a feature that sets our training apart from many similar course offerings. You will also run tests and experiments with various solar modules wired in series, parallel, and connected to batteries and loads. There is no prerequisite for this course.

Instruction and Activity Includes:

-Build & Commission a 3kW Grid-Tied PV System
-Test Various PV Module Technologies
-Practice Various Mounting Methods
-Work with Balance-Of-System Components
-Practice with the Tools, Meters, and Equipment used by Solar Professionals

This Advanced Lab complements our in-depth 60 Entry Level hour Foundations Online course. Taken together, these courses will build the foundational knowledge necessary for continued education, and your NABCEP Professional Certification.
