Instructors: Dan Fink and Dan Bartmann each have over two decades of off grid living experience. They are coauthors of the book Homebrew Wind Power, and owners of Buckville Energy Consulting and the informational website Otherpower.com, located high in the Colorado mountains. Dan Fink has been designing, installing and troubleshooting offgrid systems since 1993, and is a frequent contributing author for publications such as Home Power Magazine, Solar Professional, The Journal of Green Building, Back Home Magazine, The Huffington Post and more. Dan Bartmann specializes in small wind power, and his robust, quiet and reliable and easy to build wind turbine designs are popular worldwide for rural electrification, aid work in developing countries, and anywhere offgrid systems are needed.
