Arctic Sun is your one-stop partner for everything related to renewable energy systems in the Far North.
We offer design service, products and installation for residential and commercial renewable energy systems. From solar PV and solar thermal to wind turbines and geothermal heat pumps, we are able to serve all your alternative energy needs. In addition, we carry a selection of high efficiency building products and passive house components. These include top performing boilers with solar thermal integration capabilities, and efficient passive house certified heat recovery ventilators from Europe with ground based preheating loops for pre-warming incoming ventilation air. Currently, we are developing our product line of highly efficient ARCTIC entry doors with an R-value of up to R-60 and multiple lock points for airtight seals. Additionally, we are developing an exterior thermal shutter system that will provide a viable solution to the huge energy deficit created by windows during a long cold winter night. Until glazing technology catches up with the extreme requirements in our cold arctic regions, thermal shutters offer an attainable solution needed to build truly efficient buildings.
